When do sciatica symptoms need emergency attention?
Seek emergency medical care for symptoms in both legs, severe or worsening weakness or numbness in both legs, numbness around the groin or anus, or new difficulty urinating or controlling your bladder or bowels. These can signal a serious spinal problem requiring immediate assessment.
