Understanding your care

An adjustment starts with an evaluation.

Spinal adjustments use a controlled force, delivered by hand or with a device, to move a joint in the spine. The approach and amount of force depend on the technique used.

For people with low-back pain, studies show that spinal manipulation can provide improvements in physical function and pain relief of appropriate conditions. Your response and the suitability of treatment depend on your individual situation.

At Premier Chiropractic, your consultation and examination help Dr. Glenn understand your concerns and discuss the care he recommends. Bring questions about the approach and what to expect.

A few common questions

Questions about Chiropractic Adjustments

How many adjustments will I need?

Recommendations depend on your evaluation and how you respond to care. Ask Dr. Glenn what he recommends and when your progress will be reviewed.

Do you offer instrument-assisted adjustments?

Yes. Dr. Glenn also offers Activator Chiropractic Adjustments using a handheld instrument. Ask how this approach differs from a hands-on adjustment and whether it fits your care.

What should I know before an adjustment?

Before treatment, share your health history and medications and ask about the potential benefits and risks of the proposed technique. Temporary soreness or stiffness can occur after an adjustment.

Do you accept insurance?

Premier Chiropractic does not accept insurance. Contact our office for current fees and bring any payment questions before your visit.
